Students Fundraising for NSBE Conference, Selling BL Bumper Stickers

posted Sep 14, 2013, 6:39 AM by J. F. Trey Smith   [ updated Sep 14, 2013, 8:42 AM ]
Students are attempting to raise money to attend the Region II Fall Regional Conference in Charlotte, North Carolina, hosted by the National Society of Black Engineers. In addition to hosting bake sales, students are selling Boys' Latin bumper stickers for $5. The bumper sticker design is shown below.

All proceeds will help pay for conference registration fees, lodging costs, and transportation costs. While at the convention, the math team will compete in the annual Try-Math-a-Lon (for the third year in a row), attend sessions about college readiness and engineering, and network with collegiate and professional engineers.
