Boys' Latin students have the opportunity to compete in the Greater Philadelphia SeaPerch Challenge. The goal of the SeaPerch Challenge is to increase student interest in robotics, science, mathematics, engineering, and technology and to introduce students to naval engineering.

As part of the competition, students design and build a Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) that performs tasks while submerged under water.

The 2013 SeaPerch Competition was held on Friday-Saturday, April 26-27, 2013, at Drexel University. Information about the 2014 competition will be posted when it becomes available.

Students interested in participating in the competition should contact Mr. Smith.
